JEE Advanced 2018 – JEE Advanced is an important national level entrance examination which is conducted every year by the 7 zonal Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) under the direction of Joint Admission Board, JAB. JEE Advanced is the second stage Entrance examination of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The examination is organized to offer admission to all the eligible candidates into different B.Tech, Architecture, Integrated M.Tech courses or B.Tech M.Tech Dual Degree in Engineering, Science & Pharmacy courses provided in IITs and ISM.

The interested and eligible candidates can register themselves for the JEE Advanced 2018 examination through Online mode only. The JEE Advanced 2018 Registration process will commence most probably in the month of April 2018. How to Apply for JEE Advanced 2018 Application Form

  • Candidate must visit Official website for JEE Advanced 2018 i.e.www.jeeadv.ac.in
  • Applicant has to fill all the required information in the registration form.
  • Candidates have to upload their scanned images and signature in a given format.
  • Candidate has to make the payment of the Application Fee through Debit/Credit or Internet Banking.
  • Finally, Click on the Submit Button.
  • Candidate must keep the print out of the JEE Advanced Registration Form 2018 for Future use.

JEE Advanced 2018 Eligibility Criteria

It is important to mention that applicants need to fulfill the eligibility criteria to apply for the entrance exam. Here is the information for applicants’ candidature regarding JEE 2018

Educational Qualification

  1. Candidates must have attempted 10+2 or equivalent examination for the first time in either year i.e. 2017 or 2018
  2. Also, candidates those results of class 10+2 or equivalent examination for the year 2015-16 were announced after June 2016, are also eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2018.

JEE Main 2018 Performance

In order to appear for the JEE Advanced examination, candidate should be among the top 2,20,000 (including all categories) thereby securing positive marks in JEE Main 2018 Paper 1

Age Criteria

Candidates applying for the JEE Advanced 2018 examination should be born on or before 1st October 1992.

Also, there is an Age Relaxation for candidates belonging to the following categories.

Number of Attempts

Candidates are able to appear for the JEE Advanced Exam (IIT JEE Exam) a maximum of two times in consecutive years. Also, candidates who have appeared for the JEE Advanced 2017 examination for the first time are also eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2018 examination.
